Picture of the day: A traditional dogsledding yard on Svalbard

Dogsledding is a nice and old tradition, when getting out and about in arctic places. This little image shows one of the yards for dogs, and this one is build as a model of a old trapper stations.

One of the things that you can see in the far end is a model some seals hanging out to dry, and the reason for the display is that the trappers did not wanted the polar bears to reach them.
