It is a nice spring day here in northern Norway, and I felt like venturing out doing some macro shots of the forest that are coming alive. So like the old master Robert Capa said, pictures is about getting close, and MACRO shots is all about that. Image of the day is of a little top of a flower, showing it self of. It is shot in the middle of the day, and if you are wondering about the black background is because I used a flash to make the background go away.
Many interesting images is just outside your door. This is some snow and ice with a macro point of view taken on my porch this afternoon.
I was attending a macro photo class yesterday, and I found this view of a daffodil quite alluring
Iguana eyes is fascinating …
Here are a small slideshow from a macro workshop that I attended tonight.
Been on a macro photography workshop

Here are some more flowers
I was out and about, and tried to find some kind of proof that spring is upon us.
Outside my apartment I found this tree, that are showing sign of “rebirth”. I don’t know what these are named in English, but “pussycats” are the Norwegian slang.
Next where some sunflowers that are starting to appear everywhere.
And last , but not least some lonely beautiful purple flowers.. (you have to excuse me for not knowing the different names, but I feel they make excellent images, and need to be shared….)
