Fin whale in Boston

I am in Boston, what to do…. I have a plan of taking pictures of animals on this trip, so I have spent my day on a whale cruise outside Boston, and here I met this “little” fellow, a Finn whale, the second largest creature that have ever roamed this very earth. Quite impressive.

Orcas up close and personal

I have been fortunate enough that the town where I live have had a visit of a small pack of Orcas (Killer whales) for 5 days now, and as a nature lover, it is a fantastic feeling to watch these creatures up close and personal. I was out last night, and here are some of the pack doing there thing.

Picture of the day: A view from above (Torghatten)

Another day, and another view of the mountain Torghatten, that I have depicted so many times before. But this time it is from a different angle, above. I was out and about with some friends on an other mountain, that is about twice as high as Torghatten, and that makes for a spectacular view.  Just notice all the small islands, surrounding the spectacular mountain.

Pictures of the day: Mother and child

I was out in the nearby woods here in Northern Norway today, and came over this little fellow. A roe deer that was sitting in the fields.

After a little while a couple of small ears emerged , and I realised that this was a little young one.

And after a little while observing them. They went on their way in the nice settling sun.
