At least the proverb says that. A wonderful creature from my trip to Galapagos a couple of years ago. Just incredible animal.

Todays image takes me back to the Galapagos. One of the most fascinating places I have been on the very earth. I did not get to see the northern islands, but they sure are on my bucket list.

The animal Kingdom is amazing, and Galapagos is just the best. This black iguana was just sitting on the rocks, and was blending in nicely. Just found it amazing.

Noooo.. Not middle Earth, but the middle of the planet, or the equator line, just outside Quito in Equador 🙂
Have a good weekend 🙂

The albatross is the worlds biggest flying bird…… And are quite impressive , I shot this one outside Galapagos some years ago. But I have to admit , they kind f look like a huge sea-gull.

I enjoy shooting travel, street and animal photographs. At least , that is what I like to take images of when I bring my camera and gear. Sometimes when you look at old images, and takes them thru the creative process they give you a different feel, and you see a different potential in them.
The image of the day is from my trip to The Galapagos Islands a couple of years ago, and this little seal was posing nicely at a rock. I do not have much experience doing portraiture or modeling shots, and this I guess is as close as I can get. The seal have definitely learned how to catch the light, and striking a pose for the photographer.

As you all understand, I am a big fan of the Galapagos and the wildlife there. And this image is of no exception.
It was captured at a zodiac ride outside the Galapagos this summer.
