I am in my hometown in Northern Norway, and it is raining, its dark and windy. I just needed to post something “sunnier”.
So I found a sunset image from the Galapagos taken this summer.

As you all understand, I am a big fan of the Galapagos and the wildlife there. And this image is of no exception.
It was captured at a zodiac ride outside the Galapagos this summer.

This quite fierce land iguana was just standing its ground on a beach outside Galapagos

This pack of land turtles was gracing at the Darwin Research centre at the Galapagos. Quite the magnificent site 🙂

We where going to board the Zodiac to go ashore, but this “little” pelican was not in a hurry…

Hi
Here is a image of a short beak finch from Galapagos. One of the main observations of Darwin and the basis of his theory.

This old iguana appears to have seen its part of natures rough side, and was relaxing on the beach of Punta Pitt in Galapagos. Just living to tell the tale to everyone… “You don’t want to pick a fight with me”

This rather large yellow land iguana was enjoying some sun at the Darwin research centre at Galapagos. I got the feeling it did not want to get bothered doing whatever land iguanas do…..

Hi
I continue with images of the lovely birds of Galapagos. I apologise if I am wrong, but I think this is a small Ground Finch.
